We believe at Silver Spring Child Center that a warm and caring environment is essential for pre-school age children. Our  mission  is to enhance the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of young children by establishing a developmentally appropriate program and teaching standards rich in love, understanding and challenging activities.

 

     We have created an environment of unconditional love, support and respect for our children. We recognize that each child is unique and should be treated with respect as an individual.  We help our children feel successful by allowing them to experience at their own pace. We encourage children to explore the world around them, to understand and feel good about themselves, and to learn to care deeply about all the people who make up their lives.

 

     We believe that violent toys encourage violent play.  We do not allow guns or action figures into the Center.
